Born on 15 August, 1960, doctor in computer science (artificial intelligence & music), currently teaching musicology in Lille.
Formerly an autodidact composer, jazzer for a while, I studied computer sciences in order to work at Ircam.
Then, I have studied composition under Brian Ferneyhough, and Klaus Huber, Tristan Murail, Luis de Pablo in the Abbaye of Royaumont.
I attempt at circumscribing a closure of modernity, arising out of figural trajectories submitted to inductive processes.
My scores have been created by such performers as S:I,C, Françoise Rivalland, Kammer-ensemble für Neue Musik from Berlin, Donatienne Michel-Dansac, Garth Knox Court-Circuit, 2E2M, Contre-champs…
I am also musical advisor for the theater company Le Limon.
